Bac Giang Culture - Tourism Week to take place from February 8-13, 2025
BAC GIANG - The Bac Giang provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 66/KH-UBND on organizing the Culture - Tourism Week and opening the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival in 2025.
Accordingly, Bac Giang Cultural - Tourism Week 2025 themed "Sacred Tay Yen Tu" will be held from February 8 to 13, 2025 (the eleventh to sixteenth day of the first month of lunar calendar) at Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecotourism complex, Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Suoi Mo ecological tourism area as well as some districts and city in the province.

The event will feature many activities such as Forest Opening Festival; thematic display and promotion of tourism products "The Path of Propagating Buddhism of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Patriarchs"; performance of Cheo art and Intangible Cultural Heritage; Then singing - Tinh gourd lute and folk songs festival of Son Dong district; Procession Ceremony of the tablet of the Three Truc Lam Patriarchs from Vinh Nghiem Pagoda to Thuong pagoda in Tay Yen Tu, Spring Newspaper Festival and photo exhibition about the province's socio-economic achievements among others.
In particular, the opening ceremony of the Bac Giang Culture - Tourism Week and Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival 2025 will be held at 9:00 a.m on Sunday, February 9, 2025 (lunar January 12) at the Tay Yen Tu spiritual – ecotourism complex.
The activities aim to preserve, honor and promote the cultural values and unique heritages of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism, with the path of propagating Buddhism of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhist Patriarchs.
In addition, such events help promote the image of the land, people and typical and unique cultural heritage values of Bac Giang province to the people, domestic and international tourists, affirming that Bac Giang tourism is a safe, civilized, friendly and hospitable destination.
From a little-known place on Vietnam’s tourism map, Bac Giang has now built a brand for its tourism industry featuring many attractive destinations to both domestic and foreign visitors.
BAC GIANG - Participating in and following the 2024 Bac Giang Newspaper’s Half Marathon, athletes and fans have the opportunity to explore and mark their destinations with beautiful photos on the roads of Bac Giang City (Bac Giang province).
