Organisers said the competition was launched following directives from provincial authorities to create a breakthrough in agricultural trade promotion.

The contest seeks to highlight the economic and cultural value of Bac Ninh lychees while telling the stories of farmers and cooperatives involved in sustainable production and e-commerce applications.

Each entry is expected to serve as a “digital brand ambassador,” helping bring the image of Bac Ninh’s lychee-growing areas closer to global consumers.

The competition is open to individuals, groups and organisations both inside and outside Bac Ninh Province, with no restrictions on age or profession.

Entries must be video clips lasting between 7 and 10 minutes, produced in at least Full HD quality and submitted in MP4 or MOV formats.

Videos should focus on the origin, quality characteristics and sustainable cultivation process of lychees, or tourism experiences associated with lychee-growing regions.

Participants are required to upload their videos publicly on at least one digital platform, including TikTok, YouTube or Facebook, using the hashtags #VaiThieuLucNgan, #bacninh and #cuocthitruyenthongvaithieu before submitting them to organisers.

Submission dossiers must include the original video file, the published link, author information and a 200-300 word description. Entries can be sent to [email protected] from May 11 to May 25, 2026.

The contest offers total prize money of 39 million VND (1,400 USD), including a first prize worth 10 million VND. Winners will be selected based on content quality, creativity and public outreach impact.
