A cool climate and beautiful landscapes make Da Lat a popular destination in Vietnam, Agoda said.

Some popular tourist attractions in Da Lat are Valley of Love, the Da Lat Flower Gardens, and the historic Da Lat Railway Station.

Situated on a plateau around 1,500 meters above sea level, Da Lat is famous for its French colonial heritage. It used to be a summer retreat for French officials during colonial times thanks to year-round cool climate and beautiful landscape.

Vu Ngoc Lam, country director at Agoda, said Da Lat's appearance in the top five most affordable destinations reflects Vietnam's growing appeal as a cost-effective yet richly rewarding place to visit.

To compile the list, Agoda analyzed the average room rates of the top 10 destinations across nine markets in Asia based on accommodation bookings between March to May 2025 with a check-in date between June 1 and Aug. 31.

Indonesia's Surabaya was named the cheapest destination in Asia this summer with average room rates costing $35 per night, followed by Tirupati in India and Hat Yai in Thailand.
