More than 8.8 billion VND supported OCOP products
BAC GIANG - Implementing Resolution No. 67/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2023 of the People's Council of Bac Giang province stipulating policies to encourage the development of products under One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme in the province during 2024-2025 period, up to now, the whole province has 188 products supported with a total amount of more than 8.8 billion VND (375,000 USD).
Particularly, for products that are evaluated and classified for the first time, one 5-star product was supported with 300 million VND; one 4-star product was supported with 150 million VND; 146 3-star products were supported with 50 million VND per product.

For products that are upgraded and re-evaluated, two 4-star products were supported with 150 million VND per product; two 4-star products were supported with 60 million VND per product; 36 3-star products were supported with 20 million VND per product.
Bac Giang is one of the provinces to early issue the mechanism to promote the development of OCOP products with high support funding, which encourages the subjects to participate in the OCOP Programme; invest in production and business activities; improve product quality; innovate and improve designs and packaging as well as continuously expand the consumption market.
So far, Bac Giang province has 385 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, up 95 products compared to 2023. The province's goal this year is to have 40 new recognized products.
BAC GIANG- In implementation of the One Commune One Product programme (OCOP), Bac Giang province currently has 385 OCOP products rated from 3 star or higher, up 95 products compared to 2023, exceeding the plan by 10 products, including 1 product (Luc Ngan Hong Xuan lychee) meeting 5-star national standards and 2 potential 5-star products (Bac Giang lychee and longan pulp), according to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD).
BAC GIANG- The opening ceremony of the fair showcasing regional specialties, gifts, one commune one product (OCOP) and handicraft products was held on the evening of November 25 by Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion at the Vincom Mega Mall Royal City in Hanoi.

The district has recently aroused and promoted its strengths to bring hometown products further, increase the value and income for producers.
BAC GIANG - Many entities with rated products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP) in Son Dong district (Bac Giang province) continue to improve packaging, production lines, enhance product quality, expand sales "channels", especially exploiting digital platforms to bring products to market.
For the first time, Vietnam is showcasing its OCOP (One Commune, One Product) products at the prestigious AF-L'ARTIGIANO IN FIERA International Handicraft Fair 2024, held in Milan, Italy, from November 30 to December 8.
