Under the “Welfare Programme for Trade Union Members and Workers” since 2023, the provincial Federation of Labour has signed 99 cooperation agreements with businesses and service providers across sectors including consumer goods, food and electronics. More than 520,000 union members and workers accessed goods and services under preferential pricing schemes. The cumulative economic benefit from these discounts exceeded 33.9 billion VND, highlighting the programme’s tangible impact on improving workers’ living standards amid rising costs.
In addition to price reductions, participating partners have also provided thousands of gift packages to workers, with a combined value of approximately 1.5 billion VND, further enhancing social support for employees, particularly those in industrial zones.
Notably, based on the signed cooperation agreements, the provincial Federation of Labour has coordinated with partners to roll out three “Trade Union Shops within Enterprises” models.
These have been established at Bac Giang Garment Corporation (LGG), Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd., and Ha Phong Export Garment Joint Stock Company.
